Experimental research of dynamic vibration damping for rigid busbar structures

Introduction: in the case when flexible structures interact with wind flow, various phenomena of aerodynamic instability may arise. Typical representatives such are vortex excitation cylindrical structures, galloping poorly streamlined a square, rectangular or rhomboid cross-section, etc. The article highlights some basic ways damping vibrations rigid busbar structures. Materials and methods: method dynamic vibration consists attaching additional devices to protection object change its state. work dampers is based on formation force effects transmitted object. It differs from another reduction, characterized by imposition kinematic connections as fixing particular points. Results: mathematical model plate damper operation point load presented.
